G.O.R.E.
G.O.R.E. was founded in 2001. During that year they recorded their first demo, "Now Is the Time", which had a cover of Slayer's "Raining Blood" as a bonus track. The year 2002 brought up another demo. "Demo '02", as it was simply named, gave G.O.R.E. valuable studio recording experience. During 2003 the band evolved into a quartet as another guitar player, Jussi Tomukorpi, joined the ranks. 2004 was spent on doing a music video for their song "Faces", gaining more live experience and composing some new songs. In 2005 an new EP was recorded. "Antagonistic Anthems" raised G.O.R.E. to a new, heavier and more aggressive, level. Soon the band had a fifth member as Jarmo Perälä came to play the bass leaving Ville Pokki to concentrate on the vocals. This five-piece band remained until the 2nd guitarist left the band in August of 2006. Again as a quartet the band went to a studio and recorded three songs for their new promo CD "Bitter Reality", released in the summer of 2007.
